Sourcing Specialist

A Sourcing Specialist (responsible for mainly buying goods from China and Turkey) is required in Mezian Company

Mezian is a licensed Turkish company specializing in E-commerce and digital advertising. It owns several branches in the Gulf region and has many projects and electronic products.

Job Description:

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - Supply Chain (1)

Contract Duration: One year - renewable

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday)

Duty Station: Turkey

Salary: 8000 ₺ - 12000 ₺ (TRY)

Starting Date: As soon as we get the qualified candidate

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Undertaking order identification, purchasing, and inventory management, including setting up RFI, RFQ, and RFP as needed

• Follow- up of the manufacturing process, shipping and customs clearance

• Negotiating contract terms and quotes with suppliers

• Coordinating delivery schedules with suppliers

• Regularly updating and maintaining a supplier database

• Building connections with factories and managing relationships in a way that allows for adequate availability of supplies when needed

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspection visits and preparing reports accordingly

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field

• At least three years of experience in supply chain as a sourcing specialist, buyer, or similar role.

• Familiarity with sourcing procedures and legalities

• Good Knowledge of international shipping terminology

• Good knowledge of international import and export controls

• Professional level in English and a native speaker of Turkish

• Ability to assemble goods and send them to a number of countries

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to negotiate

• Results and quality orientation
