We are seeking a talented and innovative Cosmetic Chemist to join our dynamic team in the cosmetics industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, formulating, and testing new cosmetic products, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and formulate new beauty products including skincare, hair care, and cosmetics
Conduct stability, compatibility, and safety tests on products
Oversee and manage personal care product manufacturing processes
Conduct inspections and quality control tests to ensure products meet company standards
Collaborate with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to launch new products on the market
Ensure compliance with local and international cosmetics regulations
Research and evaluate raw materials and ingredients for use in formulations
Maintain detailed records of formulations, tests, and experiments
Troubleshoot formulation issues and suggest improvements on existing products

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Sciences, or a related field
Experience in personal care product manufacturing and quality control processes
Experience in cosmetic formulation or a similar industry (preferably more than two years)
Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients and their properties and functions
Knowledge of cosmetic safety laws and industry standards
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
