Warehouse Employee

Job Description:

Contributing to the smooth and efficient daily operations in the warehouse by performing tasks related to preparing, handling, organizing, packaging, and shipping goods to achieve the company's goals in terms of accuracy and quality of customer service. This ensures that shipments are delivered to customers in excellent condition and on time, while achieving high operational efficiency in the warehouse.

Required Tasks:

1. Receiving incoming shipments and inspecting them for safety and conformity to attached documents

2. Packaging shipments using appropriate materials to ensure their protection during transportation.

3. Ensuring proper labeling on cartons or parcels (input barcode, shipping bill, reference certificates, destination, or any other necessary document or information).

4. Loading and unloading shipments safely to ensure the safety of products and staff.

5. Moving cartons and parcels inside the warehouse using handling equipment like hand trucks or forklifts.

6. Loading shipments onto designated delivery vehicles and ensuring they are arranged to prevent damage during transit.

7. Assisting drivers in securing shipments inside the vehicles.

8. Ensuring packaging conforms to the company's standards and customer requirements.

9. Storing shipments in their designated areas within the warehouse in an organized manner.

10. Ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately recorded in the system.

11. Coordinating with the operations and delivery team to ensure accurate shipment preparation

12. Promptly reporting any issues with shipments or equipment to the direct supervisor.

13. Coordinating with the team to ensure shipments are prepared correctly and on time.

14. Adhering to occupational health and safety standards, including using personal protective equipment.

15. Maintaining daily cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure a safe and organized work environment.

16. Assisting in periodic inventory counts of the warehouse.

18. Working positively and cooperatively with the warehouse supervisor and shipping team to ensure smooth operations.

19. Participating in training sessions or work-related instructions and continuously developing skills.

20. Performing any additional tasks directed by the supervisor within the department's scope to ensure warehouse goals are achieved.

Requirements:

1. Legal residency in Istanbul.

2. Preference for Turkish nationals.

3. Willingness to continually learn new tools and techniques as needed.

4. High skill level in quality assurance and precise standard application.

5. Ability to work efficiently in a challenging and pressure-filled environment.

6. Quickly adapting to changing conditions and developments.

7. Possessing positive communication skills that effectively impact the team and work environment.

8. Time management and prioritization skills to complete tasks within specified time periods

9. Capability to solve problems effectively and independently without needing to revert to the supervisor.

10. Excellent language skills in both Turkish and Arabic as a primary requirement.
