How does the range extender work?

RaceChip RX is installed between the accelerator pedal sensor and the engine control unit. Thanks to the easy and instant installation, it requires no prior technical knowledge. The signals sent by the accelerator pedal sensor are modified through custom curves to adjust the response. This results in a more linear torque request from the electric motor and increased energy recovery when releasing the pedal. Consequently, energy loss during braking is reduced and energy recovery is improved, allowing the battery to cover a longer distance with the same capacity.
