Regulatory Affairs required for a food consultancy company remotly

Remote position available for Arabs in Istanbul: Regulatory Affairs position

Required knowledge, skills and experience

-A bachelor’s degree in a technical area, such as nutrition, food science, chemical Engineering, chemistry, pharmacology, legal or regulatory

- Experience in labeling compliance/regulatory is preferred, preferably with FMCG or authorities

-Excellent Arabic, English Written/spoken skills, other languages is plus

- Attention to details, Problem solving, time management , research skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Registration

• Registration of products in Dubai Municipality through the system, follow up with Dubai Municipality, and go to DM to get the registration certificate
• Registration of products through SFDA portal
• Assisting clients in product’s registration and approval and supporting them when they face challenges with authorities

Label & Formula Validation

• Formula validation: Validating the core formula compliance
• Prepare product label specification document of all the mandatory labelling information to be added on the label
• Claims validation: Advise on the permissibility of using nutrition and health claims and suggesting alternatives in case of noncompliance
• Validating website content and other communication including social media ads from a regulatory point of view to ensure it does not conflict with any regulation

Translation

• Translating required label information from English/French to Arabic or vise versa
• Translating regulations or draft regulations from Arabic to English

Regulatory Inquires

• Answer Regulatory Affairs question (RA) by checking relevant standard, research and contacting the concerned authorities
